AI Phone Receptionist Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Leave the Phone to Us ("we," "us") runs a done-for-you AI phone receptionist service for businesses in the United States and Canada. This policy explains, in plain words, what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- From our sign-up and contact forms: your name, business name, website, trade, email, phone, city or area, call volume, plan interest, and whether you want text messages.
- From clients: the business details you give us to build your receptionist, like hours, services, and prices.
- From calls to your receptionist: the caller's phone number, what they said, call recordings, transcripts, and call summaries.
- Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To build, run, and improve your receptionist.
- Our team listens to call recordings and reads transcripts to check and improve the client's receptionist.
- To send you call notes, call recordings, and account messages you asked for.
- To answer your questions and bill your account.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for anyone else's ads.
Who helps us run the service
We use trusted providers to run the service. They only get what they need to do their job:
- ElevenLabs: the AI voice that answers calls, plus call recordings and transcripts.
- Twilio: phone numbers, calls, and text messages.
- Google: email, forms, and secure file storage.
- Stripe: payments.
- Meta: measuring our ads and showing them to people who visited our website (see "Ads and analytics" below).
We may also share information if the law requires it.
Call recordings
Call recordings and transcripts are stored securely. Our team listens to call recordings and reads transcripts to improve the client's receptionist. We share them only with the client whose business line the call came to. Your private listen links are not posted publicly.
Text messages (SMS)
We use your mobile number only to send the call alerts and account messages you asked for. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing. Text STOP to opt out at any time. Text HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
How long we keep it
- Call recordings and transcripts: up to 12 months, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.
- Sign-up and account info: while you are a client, then up to 2 years after you leave, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Billing records: as long as the law requires.
Ads and analytics
We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), to measure how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who visited our website. It uses cookies and similar tools to note things like which pages you visited and whether you signed up. Meta may use this information under its own privacy policy. We also use simple visit counts (Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies) to see which pages help people.
You can opt out of ads based on your visits in your Facebook ad settings, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use an ad blocker. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can ask to see, fix, or delete your information at any time. Email [email protected] and we will take care of it.
Security
We keep your information behind secure logins and only our team can reach it. No system is perfect, but we work to keep your data safe.
Children
Our service is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top. Big changes will be emailed to clients.
